Meet Lauren
Hello, I'm Lauren, the founder of The Countryside Canine Co.
Dogs have always been at the heart of my life, and caring for them has grown from a lifelong passion into a profession I truly love.
Growing up with two Border Collies sparked my lifelong love of dogs and taught me the importance of understanding every dog's unique personality and needs.
Today, I share my life with three wonderful giant breeds: Mabel and Martha, my Leonberger sisters, and George, our gentle Bernese Mountain Dog × Newfoundland cross.
Alongside my own dogs, I've spent the past six years working as a Veterinary Practice Assistant, gaining valuable hands-on experience in animal care, communication and training.
This combination of professional experience and a lifetime surrounded by dogs has shaped my approach to care. I believe every dog deserves patience, kindness and care tailored to their individual personality and routine.

Working in a busy veterinary practice has given me valuable experience in animal health, welfare and day-to-day care. It has also reinforced the importance of trust, compassion and clear communication with both pets and their owners.

Our first Leonberger and the beginning of our giant breed adventure. Gentle, loyal and full of love, She is 3 years old.
Mabel's real sister, who we adopted in January 2025. Playful, affectionate and full of character, she is 3 years old.
Our gentle giant who joined us in July 2025. With the sweetest soul and a clam, placid nature, he is 8 years old.
